Affiliated with Asan Medical Center, Dr. Youngwoong Back is a Korean board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over 11 years of experience. He is an esteemed member of the Korean Orthopedic Association, the Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society, and the Korean Society of Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine.

After completing his training in Korea, Dr. Back built his expertise in arthroscopic and open surgery for shoulder, knee, ankle, and wrist musculoskeletal trauma. He possesses specialized knowledge and techniques in advanced knee cartilage regeneration using stem cells. In 2019, Dr. Back honed his skills in advanced shoulder surgery techniques as a visiting doctor at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, USA. Additionally, he extended his professional expertise to the UAE, working as a consultant of orthopedic surgery in three different hospitals, gaining valuable insights into Arab medical practices.
