Our clinic is proud to offer Fluoroscopy Guided Interventional Musculoskeletal Adhesiolysis and Nerve Stimulation (FIMS), a globally recognized treatment developed by Dr. Ahn, Kang MD, PhD. FIMS is a non-surgical, steroid-free procedure that targets the root causes of pain by restoring impaired neural pathways and allowing the body to heal itself naturally.
FIMS is designed to eliminate the fear and side effects associated with conventional musculoskeletal surgeries.
The first treatment of its kind, FIMS is a globally renowned procedure and a testament to our commitment to cutting-edge, effective treatments.
It works with the body’s natural healing processes to offer patients significant and sustained long-term relief and enhanced mobility.
Proprioceptors inside the muscle, tendons, and ligaments play important role in motor function, including joint movements and posture maintenance. When these proprioceptors get damaged due to repetitive injury, stressful exercises, and improper posture/gait, daily body movements become restricted and body tissues start to degenerate at a faster rate. This triggers inflammation at specific body parts resulting in pain.
Pre-existing treatments only focus on eliminating pain by chemical injection or reconstructing local structure, often accompanied with further degeneration. These types of treatments might reduce pain in short term, but in reality, the injury is progressing. Inflammation is often painful, but it’s a vital process in regeneration of injured tissue. Simply inhibiting inflammation (often pain) only disturbs recovery, moreover, accelerates degeneration of surrounding tissues.
*Proprioceptors are nerves that sense the body position, movement, and force, meaning that these nerves tell us where our body parts are and what they are doing without looking at them, and what forces are acting upon our body at any given time.
The origin of pain can be located outside the area where you feel pain.
Muscles are controlled by the nerve signals received from the neural circuits created between the brain and spinal cord.
Proprioceptors are located within the muscles and tendons.
Our Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services category is designed to provide tailored care for patients with diverse rehabilitation needs.
Through our partnership with Seoul AhnKang Hospital, we bring over thirty years of pioneering expertise in pain management to KMC. The services we provide are recognized worldwide for their innovative and effective treatment modalities.
Physiotherapy at our rehabilitation center is designed to restore mobility, enhance muscle function, and provide long-term pain relief, particularly for those suffering from chronic pain or severe injuries. Our approach combines traditional manual, exercise, as well as traditional Korean therapy techniques and innovative robotic rehabilitation to ensure comprehensive care
Manual therapy focuses on the restoration of weakened muscle and ligament functionality. This therapy is particularly beneficial for patients suffering from chronic pain or injuries that limit their mobility, helping them regain strength and function through hands-on techniques.
Our therapists are trained to deliver targeted therapies that alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and restore movement to contracted joints, enabling patients to return to their daily lives with renewed vigor. Whether you’re dealing with musculoskeletal issues or recovering from a severe injury, manual therapy is the cornerstone of your rehabilitation journey.
Exercise therapy emphasizes the importance of proper movement and posture in the healing process. Our approach to exercise therapy is rooted in the belief that the primary treatment occurs within the patient’s own body, supported by our expert guidance.

Acupuncture is a Traditional East Asian medical practice that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to promote healing and balance of the body.
Most people don’t feel the needle or report minimal discomfort when the needles are inserted. You might feel a tingling or dull ache, but the process is generally not painful.
Acupuncture is commonly used for pain management (e.g., back pain, headaches), stress, anxiety, digestive disorders, insomnia, and more. Evidence also supports its use for certain chronic conditions like osteoarthritis and migraine.
When performed by a trained and licensed practitioner, acupuncture is very safe. Sterile, single-use needles are used to minimize risks of infection or injury.
A typical acupuncture session takes 45 minutes. It will take 60 minutes if it is your first session including consultation.
The number of sessions varies depending on the condition being treated and individual response. Acute conditions may require fewer sessions, while chronic conditions may need regular treatments over weeks or months.
